A Thrift Shop That Wanders, and a Cause That Lingers
The Wandering Thrift is Havre’s mobile thrift shop, tucked inside a trailer and parked where you can find it. Every single dollar goes directly to Gigi’s Gems Chihuahua Rescue, a nonprofit in progress giving senior and special needs Chihuahuas a second chance right here in Montana.

Have Something Worth Finding a New Home?
We accept quality donations of items valued at $25 or more which have been pre-arranged.
Why $25? Every item in The Wandering Thrift has to earn its space. We are a small mobile operation with limited room, and every dollar we bring in goes directly to senior Chihuahuas in need. A $25 minimum keeps our inventory focused, our trailer manageable, and our rescue funded.
We are not able to accept clothing, dishes, mugs, or everyday household items. What we love: furniture, collectibles, vintage and antique items, art, jewelry, tools, and anything with a story worth telling.
Please note: We do not have a drop-off location. Do not leave items at our gate. All donations are by appointment only and must be approved in advance. Reach out first and we will take it from there.
Please know we are truly grateful for every offer. The Wandering Thrift is a very small mobile operation, and space is genuinely limited. We have to be thoughtful about every single item we accept because there simply is not room for things that will not sell quickly and for a meaningful amount. Every dollar we bring in goes directly toward helping senior Chihuahuas in need, which means every square inch inside that trailer has to work hard.
It is never about being ungrateful. It is about making careful decisions so this little rolling thrift shop can do the most good possible. We deeply appreciate the kindness, generosity, and support behind every donation offer.
